Introducing our A/W 20/21 Collection

A selection of our new velvet and velvet trim cushions

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new product range for Autumn/Winter 20/21! The date is set for September 2nd, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled on our social media channels so you don't miss the big reveal.

We have experimented with a variety of different ideas, without losing our signature rich velvet fabrics, exquisite prints and - naturally - our vibrant colour palette.

Firstly, we added some trims and tufts of fabulous fringing to our cushions. It was a friend at Troynorth (a local trimmings and tassel company) that floated the idea and after a few months of sampling and colour-matching, we are thrilled with the result! Far from adding to the busyness of the design, we feel the fringing and tassels are the perfect way to frame and round off the cushion. They are classical pieces whose bold colours give them a playful edge.

We also expanded on our collaged cushions, using highly symbolic bird motifs and pairing these with our abstract and marbled designs to create eclectic designs. They work well as single statement pieces or in larger groupings (playing to create your selection is all part of the fun of the styling process). The result is cushions that combine Victorian illustration with modern art and marbling: a remarkable and eye-catching combination.

Finally, we added the most versatile designs to our range of fabrics including 8 opulent new velvets available to order by the metre for your own interior design and upholstery projects! We love to see how customers use their Susi Bellamy products and incorporate them into their colourful homes, so some more fabrics were an obvious choice in terms of expanding our offering.
